I am 54 years old and based in Istanbul. I am married and father of 21 years old son. I am a Chemical Engineer, M.Sc. I have a small company which i deal with silicone rubber business.
I started to take photos in 2015. I am focused on candid street photography and like to shoot juxtapositions. I was the member of Turkuaz Street Collective and I am the founder of Istanbul Candid Street Photography Collective.
I am always busy with photography out of my business time. I try to be in the streets so often. I am after the surprising moments in daily life which we generally don’t see and notice through the flow. I like to observe what is going around me and try to find illusion-like scenes which we rarely see.
People are usually at the center of my photos. Witnessing the surprises in life and immortalizing those scenes is the most valuable and enjoyable part of my passion.
For me, Street Photography is like an anti-depressant which opens a special gate to a wonderful world through the shutter button.
